
John Wohlert
MSW, LCSW, LCADC
John is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC). He earned his Master’s Degree from Monmouth University.
John is highly trained in working with adults and couples and brings many years of experience to the table. He practices from an eclectic approach to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reality Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy.
John has worked as a Case Manager, a substance abuse counselor, as well as a Supervisor in the field. John specializes in working with individuals with multiple diagnoses and co-occurring disorders, to include Anxiety Disorders, Depressive Disorders, Personality Disorders, Substance Abuse, Adjustment Disorders, and Bipolar Disorder.
In his free time, John is passionate about spending time with his “whacky, unique” family, playing golf, basketball, bowling, walking in nature, the ocean/boardwalk, and traveling.
