Nicole is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who earned her Master’s of Science in Mental Health Counseling with a minor in Substance Abuse Counseling from Monmouth University. She is trained via the international trauma association as a Certified Family Trauma Professional (CFTP) as well as a Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional (CCFP).
In 2019, Nicole fell in love with the expressive arts and received training to become a SoulCollage (R) facilitator, which is an expressive art based form of therapy, which she uses with her clients. Nicole also trained in 2020 to become a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine provider (CMHIMP) as a result of her love for all things naturopathy.
Nicole was moved to become certified as a grief specialist in 2021 in response to community tragedy, and is a Certified Grief Counseling Specialist. Nicole is constantly seeking new ways to bridge the gap between the mind-body-spirit connection for optimal wellness.
Nicole’s creative background pairs well with teenagers seeking help with anxiety, depression, and grief. Nicole also works with individuals on the autism spectrum. Nicole employs an array of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) techniques.
I envision each of my clients as balanced, whole and living in a space where it is safe for them to be themselves to heal so that they may have a healthy mind-body-spirit connection.
