Samantha is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She received her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University and is a National Certified Counselor (NCC).

Samantha has experience working in both nonprofit as well as outpatient settings. Clinically, she has primarily worked with teens, young adults and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral and adjustment issues, as well as social skills building. Samantha has seen clients individually as well as in group settings.

Samantha mainly works out of a person-centered and mindfulness approach, with existential tendencies. She believes a strong therapeutic relationship is a primary foundation of healing and self-discovery. Samantha focuses on the connection between body and mind as such she incorporates her skills to teach self-soothing techniques. Samantha also integrates creative expression in her counseling sessions to enhance the counseling process.

In her free time, Samantha enjoys tapping into her creative side through painting, dancing, and kickboxing. She also likes reading, listening to music, and getting together with friends and family.

I believe that our experiences in life help us grow. However, it is our responsibility to understand it, make meaning of it, and figure out what lessons we take away.
