Susan Morh

Susan Mohr is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than 20 years experience supporting people in improving their lives. She is a strengths based Counselor focusing on what is working for you and building on that.

Susan earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Kean University and went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Rutgers University. She is also a Certified Health Coach with a certificate from The Institute of Integrative Nutrition, New York City.

Susan also has her certificate in Constellation Therapy helping a person heal their family patterns. Susan utilizes modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Mindfulness-Based (MBCT) Mind-Body and Spirit integration, Constellation and Family Systems with an eclectic approach to best support you in your journey.
Susan is passionate about working with teens, adults and aging clients facing change and/or transitions, struggling with stress, anxiety, adjustments, loss, grief, trauma and depression. She has worked with blended families, co-parenting and couples exploring divorce or separation. She gently encourages clients to find their strengths and helps them to achieve their goals.

Susan has worked in various settings including an intensive treatment program for teens, outpatient therapy, community mental health, Substance use disorders program, schools and programs for people with developmental disabilities. She has much experience with people on the Autism Spectrum-specifically Asperger Syndrome and supports them in learning ways to better express themselves, improve social skills and integration along with learning ways to cope with external stimuli.

Susan enjoys spending time with family, her 3 cats and dog and being in nature-especially the beach. In her spare time she loves to listen to music, read, is an Artist and loves to laugh.
