This 6 week Mindfulness group will introduce and teach you how to use mindfulness skills to better manage feelings of anxiety, depression, and any unhealthy states of mind. Research supports the combination of meditation and mindfulness practices in conjunction with therapy as an effective treatment in stabilizing the mind and improving attention.
During the 6 week group experience, we will offer the opportunity for you to learn how to observe the activities of your mind that contribute to anxiety, depression, worry and stress. You will learn a variety of interventions to manage your challenging feelings, as well as participate in weekly assignments designed to help you develop the skills to deal with your mood.
