Amanda Costantino
MSW, LCSW

Amanda is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), who received her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Rutgers University in 2019. Amanda has experience working with groups, individuals, couples and families. She’s provided therapeutic services at a Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient level of care, both as a clinician and a program coordinator for an adolescent psychiatric program prior to transitioning to Exceptional Wellness.

Amanda believes in adapting her approach to each client’s needs. Amanda uses a combination of different psychotherapies such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment Based Therapy, Imago Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Solution Focused Therapy.

Amanda works with children as young as 8 years old, teenagers, as well as young and older adults. Amanda has experience treating anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, co-occurring substance abuse disorders, bipolar disorders, adjustment disorders, personality disorders, and relationship issues.

When she’s not working, Amanda loves to spend time with her husband and two rescue dogs. Amanda enjoys making pottery, playing tennis, baking and cooking.

Amanda is determined to foster strong, therapeutic connections with her clients as she believes that everyone deserves to have a space where they feel heard and are safe to heal at their own pace.
