Lindsay Berman

Lindsay Berman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She earned her Master of Social work from Kean University. She specializes in working with adolescents and their families who are struggling with emotional and behavioral struggles, as well as substance abuse disorders. She treats individuals with anxiety, depression, social anxiety, substance use disorders, school refusal, and relationships. Lindsay has experience working with providing both adolescents with support, as well as parental guidance to best support their child. She also has experience working with both adolescents and adults with substance use disorders.

Lindsay has worked with various populations, including teens and adults in Partial Care, Intensive Outpatient, and Outpatient settings, as well as in school settings. Lindsay has worked with people struggling with Anxiety, Depression, Personality Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Substance Use, ASD and a variety of other mental health issues. She utilizes different evidence based practices when working with clients, including, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solutions-Focused Therapy, as well as Mindfulness based therapy.
In her spare time, Lindsay loves spending time with her dog, going on long runs, and going to the beach. Lindsay’s compassionate and direct approach can help each individual with self exploration and reach individual and familial goals.
