Matt is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with experience in mental health and addictions for over 10 years. Matt earned his Masters in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from William Paterson University. He has experience both as a therapist and supervisor working in agencies, group homes, and private practice. Matt utilizes evidence-based treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). These techniques have been proven to be effective in treating issues related to mental health disorders, addictions, and relationship issues. Matt has worked with clients struggling with Depression, Anxiety, Borderline Personality Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Couples, Parenting Issues, Addictions, and other mental health issues. He works with Teenagers. Adults, Families and Couples.
Matt is passionate about being a psychotherapist. He believes that a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship enables his clients in alleviating symptoms and achieving goals that were once seen as unattainable.
Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, son, daughter, and his dog. He loves to cook and play guitar.
