Fatima Tobon
MSW, LCSW, LCADC

Fatima is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC). She has been working in the mental health and addictions field since 2012. Fatima earned a Masters Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University and a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Capella University.  She has experience as a therapist working in agencies, group homes, in the community, and in legal settings.  

Fatima works with children as young as 7 years old, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She utilizes evidence-based treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). These techniques have proven to be effective in treating issues related to mental health disorders, addictions, and relationship issues. 

Fatima has worked with clients struggling with Anxiety, Depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Personality Disorders, Parenting Issues, Couples Communications Issues, Substance Abuse, and a variety of other mental health challenges. Fatima is also bilingual and is able to provide treatment to Spanish-speaking individuals.  

Fatima enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.  She loves to ride her bike and play the piano.  

Fatima is a passionate psychotherapist.  She regularly researches therapeutic techniques to search for new and exciting ways to support the clients she serves.
