Rebecca Shack
MS, LPC, NCC, CCTP

Rebecca is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) who earned her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University. She has been working in the field for several years, beginning in internships providing counseling for children and teenagers in school settings. After obtaining her Master’s, Rebecca began working in a Mental Health Partial Care setting, facilitating group and individual counseling, as well as case management for adults diagnosed with chronic mental illness. Rebecca also has experience in private practice, conducting therapy with children, teens, and adults.

The interventions Rebecca enjoys using in her therapy sessions are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) and Motivational Interviewing, while maintaining a Person-Centered approach. Rebecca believes in utilizing the techniques needed based on the individual as well as meeting that individual where they are at in their journey.

Rebecca works with ages 5 and up in the areas of Anxiety, Depressive Disorders, Trauma, Adjustment Disorders, Socialization, and Anger Management. She also has experience facilitating group therapy.

Rebecca believes in the importance of self-care for her clients as well as herself! She enjoys taking walks on the beach, listening to music, trying new foods, and spending time with loved ones.
