For parents looking to feel more confident and in greater control of their child(ren)’s behavioral and
developmental needs.

In this 12-week group for parents of elementary school ages (k-8th grade), you will be able to more accurately identify the differences between developmental dilemmas and age-appropriate behavior. With the combination of education and peer support, you will learn the Nurtured Heart Approach (NHA) and receive training in positive recognition techniques, S.A.R.A.H. affirmation model, and
positive reinforcement techniques.

Parenting can be an isolating experience, this group will allow you to receive emotional support from facilitator and peers during discussions of current behavioral challenges you and others are experiencing. You will also be able to identify self-care strategies and informal supports.
