Angela Joven
MSW, LCSW, BCBA

Angela is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).  She earned her Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University and her post Master certificate in ABA from Rutgers University.  

Angela is highly trained in working with children ages 3+, adolescents, young adults, parents, middle-aged women, senior citizens, and brings many years of experience to the table.  She practices from an eclectic approach to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Reality Therapy, and Strength-Based Therapy. Angela incorporates play therapy, art, and music techniques all in a safe, accepting, and non-judgmental environment.  

Angela specializes in working with people with multiple diagnoses, behavioral challenges, and personal challenges to include ASD, Anxiety, ADHD, ODD, and youth/families in crisis.   Angela is also a Certified Nurtured Heart Approach Trainer and incorporates this positive modality into her own life and to everyone she meets. 

Angela enjoys being a social worker and feels grateful to meet so many wonderful people all just trying to navigate this journey called Life.  She has experience and enjoys working with people from 3 to 103.  She would be grateful for the opportunity to help guide you through whatever challenges you are facing.   

In her free time, Angela is passionate about spending time with family and friends, listening to music, reading, and watching TV.
