Lisa Hillman

Lisa Hillman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Psychodramatist (CP) who has worked with at-risk children and adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She received her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Yeshiva University in New York. Lisa is also an LCSW supervisor in New Jersey.  She has served as a school social worker, a behavioral consultant for the New Jersey public schools, and has led over 100 therapeutic groups. She has presented workshops nationally and serves as a trainer at the collegiate level and at private schools. Lisa founded Exceptional Wellness Counseling (EWC) due to a lack of services and to fill a  need in the community. 

In her free time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, precious dog Colby, laughing, going to the beach, being with friends, doing Pilates, and meditating.

I was constantly referring clients out and continued to receive phone calls for people in need. I wanted to provide the community exceptional services without clients having to be put onto a waiting list. Since opening our doors in 2013 we now have over 30 therapists. I’m so glad we have been able to serve so many people while offering quality and care.
