Sean Mangan is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). He has been working in the field of mental health for over 14 years. Sean graduated from Montclair State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Sean pursued his dream of becoming a therapist at Kean University, where he received a Master of Arts degree in Psychological Services in 2006 and a Professional Diploma in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2008.

Sean has worked with clients in group homes, schools, in-home, and private practice settings. His specialties include but are not limited to couples counseling, marital therapy, child, adolescent, and family therapy. Sean has worked with clients diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, Borderline Personality Disorder, Narcissistic Personality Disorder, Anxiety, and Depression.

Sean utilizes systemic thinking in clinical treatment, particularly among members of a couple or family. His therapeutic approach utilizes a combination of modalities, including but not limited to client-centered, attachment-based, psychodynamic, solution-focused, and with an influence by Gottman.

In his free time, Sean enjoys reading, watching baseball and football, listening to music, and attending live events and conferences.
