Cristiana is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She earned her Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where she specialized in Victimology and Trauma. She has experience working on the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline as a crisis counselor, and also has worked with families of individuals suffering from mental health crises.
Cristiana works with individuals struggling with Anxiety, Depression, Relationships, and Trauma. She believes that mental wellness can be best achieved when a healthy connection is made between the mind, body, and soul. Cristiana tailors her treatment to meet the unique needs of individuals by using evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT and EMDR in combination with holistic approaches. She understands that the relationship between the therapist and client is essential, and ensures client comfort by creating a relaxed and non-judgmental space where clients can be their true selves.
Outside of her work, Cristiana enjoys relaxing at the beach, taking nature walks, caring for her plants and spending time with her loved ones.
