Camille O’Brien

Camille is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than 15 years experience working with children and families. Camille earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University .Camille started in the field working as a substance abuse counselor providing individual and group therapy. Camille has experience as a therapist in public schools providing individual, group, and crisis intervention. She has also worked in private practice, outpatient, and in the community. 

Camille works with children as young as 4 years old, adolescents, adults and families. She utilizes evidence-based treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma Informed Care, and Solution Focused Therapy.

Camille is passionate about being a Social Worker and works at providing a safe, supportive space where clients can develop the emotional intelligence needed to explore, discover and embrace their authentic selves. Camille incorporates play therapy, art, music, and mindfulness into treatment.

Camille has worked with clients struggling with Anxiety, Depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Oppositional Defiance, Adjustment Disorders, ADHD, Parenting Issues and Self-Injury.

Camille enjoys spending time with her 3 adult children, taking long walks with her dog, spending time at the beach, traveling and learning piano.
