Hunter is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over three years of experience in the mental health field. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Monmouth University, where she completed a five-year accelerated program.
Hunter’s clinical experience spans a range of settings, including outpatient practices, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), partial hospitalization programs (PHP), and group therapy. She works with individuals across the lifespan, from children as young as five to adolescents, adults, and families. Hunter tailors treatment to meet each client’s unique needs.
Utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and mindfulness-based interventions, Hunter has supported clients dealing with anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), school avoidance, and a variety of other mental health challenges.
Outside of her clinical work, Hunter values time with friends and family, enjoys nature walks and boardwalk strolls, and finds balance through gratitude, cooking, and staying active at the gym.
