Melissa Caso is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Melissa earned her Master of Social Work degree from Monmouth University. She has experience as a therapist in both outpatient and in-home settings. Melissa is a full-time supervisor at a private non-profit that assists children and families struggling with complex mental health and behavioral challenges. She has experience working with children, teens, adults, and families struggling with Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Grief, Interpersonal Challenges, and other mental health issues. Melissa is a Certified Nurtured Heart Approach Trainer which she utilizes in treatment along with evidence-based treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solutions-Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
Melissa is passionate about being a Social Worker and therapist. She believes in creating a safe space and partnering with clients to discover and build upon strengths to reach their goals. Melissa is a trained Children’s Yoga and Mindfulness teacher. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, yoga, music and spending time doing outdoor activities.
