Locations: Manalapan, Shrewsbury, Online

Nick is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Caldwell University. Nick has experience in multiple levels of care, including inpatient, PHP/IOP, crisis services, outpatient services, and school settings.

With over six years of clinical work supporting children, adolescents, and adults, Nick offers a thoughtful and well-rounded approach to therapy. He supports clients navigating depression, anxiety, substance use, gender identity concerns, stress- and trauma-related challenges, and crisis intervention needs.

Nick works from a trauma-informed perspective, recognizing how past experiences can influence the way individuals cope with emotional pain and life’s stressors. He integrates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailoring care to each client’s unique needs. When working with children, Nick incorporates Play Therapy and is currently pursuing his Registered Play Therapist (RPT) credential. Nick is also currently a General Board Member for the NJ Association for Play Therapy.

Nick’s main goal in counseling is to always provide a safe, non-judgemental, and attentive environment where clients are able to be authentic and vulnerable in order to aid in their recovery. Outside of work, Nick enjoys spending time with his four cats, reading, going to the gym, and watching anime.

My goal is to create a safe space where individuals feel seen, heard, and understood. Through connection, creativity, and compassion, I help individuals build skills, express their emotions, and grow in ways that lead to natural empowerment.
