John is a second-year Social Work student intern completing his MSW at Kean University. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Kean in 2024. He has over a year of experience in the mental health field, having completed an internship with Kean University’s athletic department, where he worked closely with student-athletes, coaches, and faculty.
John has supported clients across a wide range of ages and backgrounds—from college students to individuals aged 65 and older. He draws from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and a strengths-based perspective in his work. He believes therapy should never be a one-size-fits-all process and is committed to providing personalized, tailored interventions that meet each client’s unique needs.
Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with friends and family, following his favorite sports teams, traveling, reading, and watching movies.

My goal is to meet you where you are at mentally and build a relationship at a pace you’re comfortable with. From there, we would work together to create a comfortable space where you can share what you want without fear of judgement.
