Vincent Covelli is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who earned his Master’s of Social Work from Rutgers University New Brunswick in 2021. Vincent started his career working in higher levels of care settings before moving to work in medical social work to help provide clients with the support they needed on an urgent care basis.
Vincent has experience working with children, teens, and adults. He enjoys supporting clients working through depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief, trauma, substance use, work and school stress. Vincent draws from his experience working with different modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to help his clients better understand their thoughts, manage emotions, and build practical tools for lasting change.
Vincent utilizes an integrative approach to therapy and strives to create a safe, collaborative, and compassionate space for each client. He believes therapy is a space for healing and processing intense emotions, while being a space where an individual can experience an authentic connection and share moments of joy during their healing process.
Outside of the therapeutic space, Vincent enjoys spending time with his loved ones and two cats. Vincent is an avid trading card game player, enjoys watching anime, and reading any fantasy genre books that pique his interest.
